Epiphany #30

Saying goodbye to Friday nights is tougher than I thought!

(What happens to Friday night eventualities now?? )

Epiphany #29

It's unbelievable how much your old music can remind you about yourself.

As you float through life and its phases, the sounds bring back intricacies of emotion, thought and being that you didn't even realize had blurred.

"Fly on my wing"

A weekend of AWESOME, followed by a 14hr. long R.E.M cycle (yep! I'm pretty sure) = Best. Morning. EVER!

Dragonflies are gorgeous!!

(Also, getting that close to it was scarier than I thought it would be!)

Silk Route is brilliant monsoon music.

"Dheemi si

Haawao ke jhokon ne jo
Chuke tujhe

Not-So-Much-An-Epiphany #25 (Poetry!)

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
What made the film for me..

Pighle neelam sa behta ye sama,
neeli neeli si khamoshiyan,
na kahin hai zameen na kahin aasmaan,
sarsaraati hui tehniyaan pattiyaan,
keh raheen hai bas ek tum ho yahan,
bas main hoon, meri saansein hain aur meri dhadkanein,
aisi gehraiyaan, aisi tanhaiyaan, aur main... sirf main.
Apne hone par mujhko yakeen aa gaya.

Not-So-Much-An-Epiphany #24

I'm going to close my eyes and travel the world.

Screw you, Money!!

(Yes, it's how I pacify myself )

Epiphany #23

I want to be able to write gibberish like "Avada Kedavra" and "Wingardium Leviosa" and have a world full of people quote it for ever and ever!

(Something's wrong with the grammar in that sentence but I can't tell what :-s )

Ps: This is not Harry Potter bashing! I'm REALLY REALLY impressed with this woman and the length to which her imagination can soar!

Epiphany #22

There's nothing more annoying than armchair, "hippie", messengers-of-peace philosophers who think they have the answer to every problem in the world, but are completely detached from real feelings and real world situations where smoking a doob won't fix everything.

(No offence to hippies. I love what they stand for. The difference, however, is that they actually lived their thoughts)

Epiphany #21

I am not just a number.
I am not just a statistic.
And I will not buy everything you try and sell me.

A working class hero is something to be...

If you want to be a hero, well just follow me.

Epiphany #18

My tear ducts are asking me to stop watching Father of the Bride so often.

There's a drought scare!

Epiphany #17

Too much sleep = Low levels of productivity

And I'm unemployed!

Uh - oh!

Epiphany #16

There's nothing in the world like waking up to a cup of rich, hot chocolate on a rainy morning, being serenaded by a certain Mr. Johnson :)

"Can't you see that it's just raining? There ain't no need to go outside"

Epiphany #15 (Lyrics!)

"Joined at the soul with a pair of headphones
We need nobody to let ourselves go
Always on my side as we rock a stage show
In an ocean of music we move with the flow"

Flow, Dub FX

Epiphany #14

It's decided - Pulp Fiction is officially my feel-good, make-me-happy movie! :D

(Some people need Jerry Maguire ... But Winnfield had me at "OK, so tell me again about the hash bars." )

Epiphany #13

Nothing makes you *sniff* crave hot chocolate in bed more than a cold on a *sneeze* Monday morning !

(Not even the first rains of the season!)

Epiphany #12

Prawns and rich chocolate = Feel good food!
Anytime! Anywhere! With anyone!

(All the time! Everywhere! Mmmm...)

Epiphany #11

Music is my time machine.

Listening to Dire Straits.

Cut to -  4 year old me, sitting on Dad's lap, cassettes strewn all over the floor as he picks his favourite songs from the lot, singing along excitedly every time Knopfler sang "Heavy heavy fuel" on speakers as tall as me.

Force field - On.

(Good thing I had no idea what the rest of the song meant!)

Epiphany #10

Limiting your realm of possibilities (by any amount, for any reason - no matter how much sense it may make to you) is growth death!

Walls are the enemy!
